a/p (anterior/posterior) balance.

You can see the distorted tubules in the heel. This is caused from a toe first landing, which causes the heels to compress and be sore. Some would call this sheared heels. The angle and break-over allow better balance and of course, therefore better movement and soundness. The angle of hoof wall will continue to improve aesthetically, but the breakover, angle (wedge) and palmar support in the shoe are accurate. We will see in the future that toe and heel angle progress rear-ward.
