Definition: Strain
Anatomy: Low vascularity ligament connectin hoof wall to coffin bone.
Clinical Signs: Lameness, ultrasound, MRI.
Causes: Not conditioned, overexertion, improper balance, footing, insects.
Treatment: Stem cell, shock wave therapy, prolotherapy. Controlled exercise (rehab) 8-16 months.
