2007 100 Day Stallion Test at Paxton Farm

ISR/Oldenburg Registry 100 Day Stallion Test

The 2007 100 Day Stallion Test is completed.  What a weekend!  The weather was perfect and the horses were truly spectacular.  It is an awesome sight to see the level of quality these animals exhibit.

Each consecutive test shows true promise for the American breeding of sport horses as the quality is always better overall than the previous pack.  Congratulations to all involved for the impressive work in accomplishing such a success.  Let's hope it continues.

This group of stallions was once again the best that has been through the test.  That is not just my opinion, but that of everyone I spoke with.  

Letter to owners upon arrival to the 2007 100 Day Stallion Test:

We are always thrilled to be a part of such an exciting event, and we appreciate how important this is to you.  Our task is to keep the horseshoeing simple and standard yet at the highest quality of balance and skill. 

Often stallions will come shod only in the front and must be shod in the hind upon arrival or at the first week.  They must also be drilled and tapped on all four shoes for the final week.
