A good farrier should be mindful of the horse’s needs and the owner’s expectations, and therefore, I continuously work to provide any kind of high quality work from successful barefoot to high fidelity performance and advanced therapeutics.

Our flagship horse show service is top-of-the-line, standard-setting farrier service. Our many years of experience supporting the best competition horses and people nationally and internationally adds comfort to your sport horse event or attending team. Competitors and organizers can not afford to settle for anything less than the best. We rely on our relationships established through the years as a farrier and an event organizer with other farriers, show officials, trainers, veterinarians and riders to provide a uniquely valuable service.

Clinical and Lameness Farrier Service:

We welcome limited referrals from clients and equine veterinarians locally and nationally. We work continuously to be well educated and skilled in helping your horse be sound using traditional high fidelity skills and state-of-the-art materials and communication techniques. We also excel at helping you to understand the situation. Remember: we can supply the specialized custom shoes, materials, and information needed (but are often difficult or impossible to make or keep in stock) for your team to be successful.

Farrier Consulting:

Sometimes you may need an expert to help your team through a problem. Sometimes you just need an outside opinion from another experienced horseman on the sale or purchase of a horse. I help the owner for the benefit of the horse(s). Issues concerning performance and lameness require a lot of experience and skill in working with the owner, the horses, and various “independent” professionals who often have their own agendas. I have been on all ends of these kinds of relationships. I understand and respect how to make them work. All we want is success!

Focusing on two things: I can arm you with an understanding of your options so you can make decisions which are in-line with your budget and abilities. I can supply you, your farrier, and/or your veterinarian with the materials (i.e. specialized custom shoes, boots, etc.) and information which may be difficult or impossible for your team to supply.
